Absolutely. I have tried it out myself many times. The first time I used it, I was not sure if I wanted to go through with the transfer. I was just curious and wanted to try it out. What I liked about it: I could enter the local bank account number and the sort code of my recipient in England. I did not have her IBAN and BIC number. This was not a problem for Wise. That was the fast money transfer I have ever done between Germany and England. Needless to say it is the same thing when you transfer between Germany and the US, or the UK and Australia.
